Our Process....

The first step is to schedule an intake appointment, where TAG policies and procedures are discussed, and the history of the case and the expectations of each parent are reviewed. The family will then be matched with the TAG supervisor or supervisors that are most appropriate.

Visits typically occur at the same time each week. Specific scheduling procedures will be discussed at the intake appointment.

Our Facilities….

One of the goals of The Assurance Group is to allow supervised visitations in settings that are more natural and more varied than what is offered by site-based programs. The majority of our visits are supervised in places such as parks, the zoo, the mall, restaurants, local attractions, playgrounds, and homes. In the event that a family has difficulty choosing a location, or that a more contained or

controlled environment is required for the visit, the Knoxville office does have a physical location available with toys and games appropriate for children.

Created by two psychologists with more than 50 combined years of experience working with families, The Assurance Group offers educated and impartial supervision of visitations between non-custodial parents and their children. Our services enable families to visit in natural environments, and without the need to burden friends or family with the awkward job of acting as supervisors. Our utmost priority is assuring the safety and well-being of the children.
